This 3-day, 2-night journey combines the comfort of an overnight cruise with a variety of experiences both on and off the water. Instead of simply cruising around the bay, you’ll have the chance to kayak through hidden corners of Lan Ha Bay, swim in the clear waters around Ba Trai Dao Beach, visit a floating fish farm, explore Dark & Bright Cave, and discover the peaceful Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island.

3-Day Itinerary

Day 1 | Hanoi – Lan Ha Bay – Ba Trai Dao Beach

Depart from Hanoi Old Quarter and travel to Cat Ba. Board Venezia Cruises and enjoy lunch while cruising through the quieter side of Lan Ha Bay. In the afternoon, kayak and swim around Ba Trai Dao Beach, then enjoy sunset, a Vietnamese cooking class and evening activities onboard.

Day 2 | Dark & Bright Cave – Lan Ha Bay
06:00 – 23:00
Start the day with sunrise and breakfast on the bay. Visit a floating fish farm before taking a day boat to kayak and explore Dark & Bright Cave. Continue cruising through the peaceful landscapes of Lan Ha Bay before returning to Venezia Cruises for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 | Viet Hai Village – Hanoi
06:00 – 16:15
Enjoy sunrise and breakfast onboard before visiting Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island. Cycle or take an electric car through the rainforest, explore the village and experience local life. Return to the cruise for lunch, disembark at 12:00, and transfer back to Hanoi, arriving around 16:15.
