Itinerary

Morning: Journey to Pu Luong

Your guide and driver will pick you up in Hanoi at 6:30 a.m. before departing for Pu Luong Nature Reserve, located in the mountains of Thanh Hoa Province.

Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes of northern Vietnam, from bustling city streets to peaceful countryside, limestone mountains, and endless green rice fields. After that, take a short break near Cuc Phuong National Park before continuing the journey.

Explore Traditional Villages & Water Wheels

Upon arrival in Pu Luong at around 10:30 a.m., meet your local guide and begin exploring one of the region’s most scenic valleys.

Cross a suspension bridge and walk through tranquil villages surrounded by rice terraces, streams, and bamboo forests. Along the route, discover the famous giant bamboo water wheels, an ingenious traditional irrigation system created by local Thai ethnic communities.
