Itinerary
Your adventure begins with hotel pick-up in Hanoi before traveling through the beautiful countryside of the Red River Delta toward Ninh Binh province.
The first destination is Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve, the largest wetland nature reserve in Northern Vietnam. Relax on a traditional sampan boat while gliding through peaceful waterways surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains and untouched natural landscapes.
This tranquil area is famous for its rich wildlife, beautiful scenery, and as one of the filming locations for the movie King Kong. During the boat trip, guests can also explore natural water caves hidden among the limestone cliffs.
Continue to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the political center of Vietnam during the 10th century. Visit the historic King Dinh Temple and learn fascinating stories about the emperor who united the country and established the ancient kingdom of Dai Viet.
After the cultural visit, enjoy a delicious Vietnamese buffet lunch at a local restaurant featuring a variety of local dishes and vegetarian options.
In the afternoon, board another traditional sampan boat to explore the famous Tam Coc, meaning “Three Caves.”
Cruise peacefully along the river through spectacular limestone mountains, green rice fields, and mysterious caves while enjoying one of the most beautiful countryside landscapes in Vietnam. Tam Coc is especially loved by photographers and nature lovers for its serene atmosphere and incredible scenery.
The final stop is Mua Cave, where a short but rewarding hike takes you to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain, also known as Dragon Mountain. From the summit, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the valley, rivers, rice paddies, and limestone peaks — one of the most iconic viewpoints in Vietnam.
After a memorable day of exploration, return to Hanoi in the evening.
