| Your journey begins at 8 a.m with a warm welcome from our local guide before heading into the heart of Hanoi.
Visit the beautiful Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam, peacefully located on a small island in West Lake. With its ancient architecture and tranquil atmosphere, this sacred site offers a wonderful introduction to Vietnam’s spiritual culture. Continue to the historic Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you will learn about the life and legacy of President Ho Chi Minh, the most respected leader in Vietnamese history. Explore the peaceful gardens, his traditional stilt house, and the unique One Pillar Pagoda, an iconic symbol of Hanoi. The tour then takes you to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, where fascinating exhibits showcase the traditions, lifestyles, and colorful cultures of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. Enjoy a flavorful Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant, featuring a selection of traditional dishes that reflect the richness of Hanoi cuisine. In the afternoon, discover the elegant Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, dating back to the 11th century. This beautifully preserved complex is a symbol of knowledge, education, and Confucian values in Vietnamese culture. Trip note
- Modest clothing is recommended when visiting mausoleums, temples, and pagodas (shoulders and knees should be covered).
- Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays, Fridays, and during the annual maintenance period (approximately mid-June to mid-August). During closure, guests may still visit the surrounding area.
